Enhances traveler experience by showing relevant jobs without endless scrolling.
Helps CrossMed stay competitive by using tech to place faster, smarter, and more strategically.
CrossMed (Candidate) Portal
The CrossMed Portal is a one-stop platform guiding candidates from application through to assignment. It syncs seamlessly with Bullhorn (BH) to keep candidate data current and accessible.
Key Features:
Manage personal information (automatically synced to BH)
Apply to jobs directly and track applications
Favorite and share jobs
Set job alerts and save searches
Get AI-matched jobs based on profile and behavior
Submit referrals (via Staffing Referrals integration)
Upload images and submit timecards
Complete skills checklists (auto-uploaded to BH + recruiter notified)
Complete credentialing (connected to Able)
How Does Credentialing Work?
Credentialing is seamlessly integrated with Able, making it simple for candidates to upload documents and complete compliance tasks through single sign-on via the CrossMed Portal.
The following six credential docs will always appear in a candidate’s profile under the credentials section:
BLS
Driver’s License
ACLS
NIHSS
CrossMed Application
Background Consent
Once a candidate enters credentialing, a Compliance Specialist sends them an Able invite. After the candidate logs in once, they’ll access everything through the portal moving forward.
Behind the scenes, the Compliance Specialist assigns the appropriate skills checklists and any additional required documents. Once completed, all items are:
Uploaded to Bullhorn as PDFs
Synced to the candidate’s profile in the portal
Trigger notifications to both the recruiter and Compliance Specialist
This ensures a smooth, trackable credentialing process from start to finish.

Timecard Submission - What Recruiters Need to Know
Process Overview for Travelers:
Travelers go to the “Timecard” section in the top menu of the portal.
They can toggle between the current and previous week.
Note: No edits can be made to a previous week once submitted or after the Monday 12:00 PM CST deadline.
For each shift, they’ll enter:
Work date
Pay type
Time in / Time out
Break time
(Up to 6 shifts per day can be added)
Travelers will then upload either a signed timecard or a Kronos screenshot, depending on what their facility provides.
Once all entries are complete, they click “Submit.”
Pro Tip for You to Share: Encourage travelers to log their hours at the end of each shift. It reduces errors, saves time, and ensures they never miss the Monday deadline.
Reminders & Notifications:
Submission Deadline: Mondays by 12:00 PM CST to get paid that Friday.
Travelers receive daily reminders until their timecard is submitted.
Submitted timecards are visible in the portal, but approval status is not shown.
Travelers can view past and current timecards, and access ADP payroll history from the same section.

Candidate Engagement & Matching Score
The CrossMed Portal uses real-time matching algorithms to connect candidates with jobs that truly fit. By analyzing a candidate’s profile, work history, preferences, experience, certifications, and even their behavior on the platform, the system delivers personalized job recommendations. These recommendations are tailored not just to qualifications, but also to how candidates engage with the platform—resulting in smarter, more relevant matches based on both data and performance.
How is the retention status defined?
The Retention Status column highlights potential extensions or upcoming retention opportunities, helping you prioritize where to focus. New assignments won’t appear until their start date to reduce confusion. Color indicators on the assignment end date—orange for 6 weeks out, red for under 4 weeks—signal when action may be needed.
Is the Candidate Profile synced with Bullhorn?
Yes, all information is synced between the candidate profile in the CrossMed Portal and Bullhorn. The candidate will not be able to change their email address though to ensure that the systems sync correctly and no duplicates are made.
On the sales dashboard, what candidates do I see?
Recruiters will only see their assigned candidates across the following categories:
On Assignment
Active Submissions
Submission Ready
Matches
Full Pipeline (all assigned candidates)
Account Managers/National Account Managers will have broader visibility and can view all candidate matches, regardless of assignment.
This role-based view ensures each user has access to the most relevant information to streamline workflow and decision-making.
What candidates are included in the Pipeline section?
This section includes all candidates who are not yet marked as “Submission Ready,” meaning they’re still in the early stages of the recruitment process. It displays candidates assigned to any recruiter who is in Lead Status.
We’re actively working on a Maestro enhancement that will introduce a new Status column, displaying each candidate’s current Bullhorn status. Recruiters will be able to filter by specific status designations, making it easier to prioritize outreach and next steps. This feature is expected to be part of the standard product before your official launch.
