We take great pride in being a female and veteran owned agency with over 30 years experience. We wanted to know if we could do travel nurse staffing better. After breaking down what we knew, and building it back up with a fresh approach, we knew the answer was “Yes!” What started out as coffee at a Bistro, turned into this desire to make a difference for medical professionals, health care facilities and patients in need of the best care.
Bridget Weber

My name is Bridget Weber, I am married to Kevin and have been for 12+ years. We have two kids, our daughter Peyton (9) and our son Paxon (5). We are fortunate to live in Omaha, Nebraska where we are surrounded by our families on both sides. This industry is all that I know! I have been working in this industry for 16 years now and still look forward to coming to work every day! I like to live vicariously through our travelers and all of their experiences.
When I am not working I enjoy spending time with my family, spending summers at the lake and I love to take vacation! Put me on a beach anywhere and I am happy.
Bridget Millard

Hey there, I’m Bridget Millard. I like to think of myself as the OG of CrossMed, I’ve been here since the beginning. As a former teacher turned recruiter, I love being able to advocate for, and learn from, all of my nurses. When I’m not at work, you can find me living on Starbucks, buried in kid’s books, and dreaming of one day being a fitness fanatic. My husband Chad is my best friend and my favorite pastime is experiencing the world through the eyes of our daughters, Landry and Penelope.

My name is Chris Johnson, I am married to my beautiful wife Katie and we have two kids, Haylee (9) and Jase (6). I love to golf, hunt and exercise — but my true passion is Husker Football. GBR!! I am the Director of Sales for CrossMed and I have been in the industry for 12 ½ years. I love this industry and I truly believe we have an opportunity to have a positive impact in the world of healthcare. I get to live vicariously through our travelers as they experience life on the road. I enjoy traveling with my wife and kids but one thing very few people know about me is that I can clap with one hand!!

I grew up in the Midwest my whole life with my mom and 3 siblings whom I am very close with. Now that we are older, I get the privilege of loving and spoiling my 4 beautiful nieces and 2 nephews. In my free time, I enjoy spending time with my family and close friends.
I would like to say I am very adventurous and love a good travel story. My goal each year is to travel to a new location and be able to experience the world around me. CrossMed, is very family oriented and overall an amazing company to be a part of. My goal when working with a traveler is to make the onboarding process stress free and smooth sailing. I am one of the credentialing specialists here at CrossMed. I feel so blessed to be surrounded by some of the best in the business. The possibilities are endless for this group of humans, and I am so excited for what our future holds! “The Good Life” is where I have called home for all my life. I have a 15-year-old son who is my entire world. We are figuring out this thing called life together and we have done a pretty great job so far. I recently had a career change after being a Cosmetologist for 17 years. I regret nothing. I know this is where I am supposed to be. Some of my hobbies include going to the movies -popcorn and peanut butter M&M’s are a must.. wine and spending too much money at Target!

Hi there! My name is Jake Brown, and I am one of the credentialing specialists here at CrossMed! I am married to my amazing wife Cierra and father to our beautiful daughter, Kenna (5). I was born and raised in Council Bluffs, IA (Go Hawks!) and now currently live in Omaha, NE. During my free time I enjoy playing golf, watching sports, visiting craft breweries, and spending my time doing anything and everything with my girls.
Before entering the travel nurse staffing world, I spent 7 years as a bartender. I love getting to meet new people and find out who they are, so I knew that my experience as a bartender would directly correlate to communicating with our nurses. I have been in the industry now for 5 years, with 4 years of experience as a credentialing specialist and 1 year as a recruiter. There is nothing more satisfying than creating that connection with a traveler and being able to clear them to start their assignment at a facility that needs the help. I joined CrossMed for the amazing people, the opportunity to grow and the positive impact our company has in the world of healthcare.

Hey! I’m Sheri—former Restauranteur. I had a dream of taking my passion for people to the next level and CrossMed lets me do just that! CrossMed is an incredible company which allows me to spend as much time with my family as possible! And Lord, do we have a busy life. I have a 16-year-old daughter named Keelianne who seems to have become a beast of an athlete. She competes in Softball, Track, Basketball and Cross Country. She has dreams of being a college athlete and already has a few knocking on her door. Those dreams are coming true so I will be quite busy for many years to come being her biggest fan! I also have an amazing Man in my life (Dan) that always says I am his queen. Finally, we have two crazy fur babies in our home as well. Total opposites of each other we have, Rizzo, a 4 year old Great Dane puppy and Dottie, a 7 year old Jack Russel/Terrier mix who runs the show. In our rare down time, we like to venture out to my family’s 1300-acre farm in Western Nebraska. They have 200+ cattle, a few horses, a dog, and always tons of farm cats/kittens! Taking the four wheelers and side-by-sides out through the hills is our favorite!

Hi! I’m Abigail, a Recruiter in the Cath Lab Division. I was born and raised in Omaha, Nebraska, but I spent the past 16 years in Boston and Chicago. I played Division 1 volleyball at Boston College, then coached varsity teams and taught high school English Language Arts. After I completed my doctorate in Education at Loyola University Chicago, I was ready to return to my roots, so I moved home in January 2021. My whole career has been motivated by service to others, and I’m so happy to be part of CrossMed’s dedicated staff serving our exceptional nurses.

I’m Blake King and I originally derive from New Jersey. I live in Omaha, Nebraska with my wife and 3 daughters. My wife is Amanda and then my daughters are Sloan who is 3 years old, Freya who is 2 years old, and Wren who is 1. We are expecting another daughter in April 2021! I went to college at the University of Nebraska at Omaha after I played a year of collegiate soccer down in Texas. My wife Katie and I took a short pitstop in Sioux Falls, South Dakota before finally settling down here in Omaha, Nebraska. Hi there!! My name is Melissa Soash (Missy). I have been married to my best friend Dustin for 10+ years, and we have 3 beautiful children and 3 crazy boxer dogs. Spencer (25) Kadence (4) and Kaleb (forever 3 weeks), Mia, Max and Monte. I am originally from Elgin, South Carolina but have lived in Omaha, Nebraska for 15+ years. I am an avid football fan and have been a Husker fan for over 50 years. I have worked most of my life in non-profit settings serving adolescents with emotional and behavioral needs as well as people with intellectual disabilities. Hello, I’m Michelle Williams. Married to my amazing hubby Demetrius and a busy sports mama of three children: Chauncey (21), Nevaeh (16) and Elijah (14). I was born and raised in Omaha, NE but we frequently visit just about every Midwest state (and beyond) every summer during our softball and baseball travel season. We are on the road most weekends from March thru July and busy with high school sports in the fall. I love watching my kids do what they love and am sad to say we have less than 4 years until our last one graduates.
As you can tell, we don’t have much free time for about 9 months of the year but in our off months you can find us making amateur family videos, cooking every new recipe we find on Tik Tok, shopping, family movie nights, crafting, hosting our friends and family, watching ESPN and just making memories. Family is everything to me!
I have been in the travel industry for almost 7 years as both a compliance specialist and recruiter. I love what I do and love to help others begin their travel journey. I joined CrossMed for the amazing people and culture! It is both exciting and refreshing to play a part in a growing company that holds true their core values.
