A little about us
We unite great people with great opportunities across healthcare.
We asked the question, “How can we do this better?”
We take great pride in being a female and veteran owned agency with over 30 years experience. We wanted to know if we could do travel nurse staffing better. After breaking down what we knew, and building it back up with a fresh approach, we knew the answer was “Yes!” What started out as coffee at a Bistro, turned into this desire to make a difference for medical professionals, health care facilities and patients in need of the best care.
My name is Bridget Weber, I am married to Kevin and have been for 12+ years. We have two kids, our daughter Peyton (9) and our son Paxon (5). We are fortunate to live in Omaha, Nebraska where we are surrounded by our families on both sides. This industry is all that I know! I have been working in this industry for 16 years now and still look forward to coming to work every day! I like to live vicariously through our travelers and all of their experiences.
When I am not working I enjoy spending time with my family, spending summers at the lake and I love to take vacation! Put me on a beach anywhere and I am happy.
Hey there, I’m Bridget Millard. I like to think of myself as the OG of CrossMed, I’ve been here since the beginning. As a former teacher turned recruiter, I love being able to advocate for, and learn from, all of my nurses. When I’m not at work, you can find me living on Starbucks, buried in kid’s books, and dreaming of one day being a fitness fanatic. My husband Chad is my best friend and my favorite pastime is experiencing the world through the eyes of our daughters, Landry and Penelope.

My wife is Amanda and then my daughters are Sloan who is 3 years old, Freya who is 2 years old, and Wren who is 1. We are expecting another daughter in April 2021! Hello! My name is Tanner McWilliams and I was born and raised in Sioux City, Iowa. My wife Katie and I took a short pitstop in Sioux Falls, South Dakota before finally settling down here in Omaha, Nebraska. I really enjoy getting out and golfing when the Midwest weather allows it, and when it doesn’t, I am trying to find the next DIY project around the house. On Saturdays you can find me watching the Hawkeyes play and on Sunday you can find me watching the Packers. My wife and I also love to travel, whether it be a quick weekend trip, or across (and out of) the country — Our favorite place so far has been Ireland, and the trip on our wish list is Greece.
The culture at CrossMed is top notch and being able to help nurses find the next step in their journey is so exciting and rewarding. Nurses spend all of their time taking care of others and it means a lot to me to have the opportunity to take care of them. I look forward to connecting with you!
Lisa here, recruiter with CrossMed Health! I’m a born and raised Nebraska girl! I’m married to my husband AJ and we have two boys, Wesley and Jay. Throughout my career I have worn many hats from working in the social service industry with families to working with at risk youth in residential settings, but my favorite hat is that of being a mom and a CrossMed employee. I love working for a woman owned and founded company that lets me be the best wife, mom, daughter, sister, friend and employee I can be! I love to get to know new people and help them to discover new adventures in the travel nursing industry. Another fun fact about me is… I am obsessed with all things MTV reality shows.
Hey there, I’m John Pearcy, Recruiter with CrossMed. I was born and raised on the West Coast but now I call Omaha my home! I enjoy connecting with nurses across the country and helping them find their perfect assignment. A little about me…I am a huge sports fan and enjoy spending time outdoors, especially in the summer months. When the sun is shining, you can find me grilling and hanging out on a boat with my swim trunks and my flippy floppys!
Hi friends, Meghan Sather here. While new to Crossmed, I am an industry vet. I am all about the long game, lasting connections, building trust, and getting after it. Outside of the office, you can usually find me at the softball complex, football sidelines, karate dojo cheering on my 3 kids to the point of their embarrassment. When Emery, Killian, and Ronan aren’t collecting athletic accolades and hardware, you can generally find us lakeside with friends, family and our favorite sidekick, our mini doodle, Indie.
Hi there!! My name is Melissa Soash (Missy). I have been married to my best friend Dustin for 10+ years, and we have 3 beautiful children and 3 crazy boxer dogs. Spencer (25) Kadence (4) and Kaleb (forever 3 weeks), Mia, Max and Monte. I am originally from Elgin, South Carolina but have lived in Omaha, Nebraska for 15+ years. My hobbies are pretty much doing anything with my family, painting old furniture and I am always finding something to remodel in our house. We are huge into UFC and just this past year I have gotten into Football (don’t laugh)! When I’m not at work you can find me at home showing off my crazy good hide and seek skills and playing 10 rounds of duck, duck goose, and if I’m not there you can find me at Target with a Starbucks.
I love everything about the medical staffing industry because I get to help the true Super Hero’s (all our Nurses) explore the country while doing what they love. I travel through each one of you!
My ultimate goal and dream is to be able to open a No Kill Animal Shelter that takes in all types of animals.
I would like to take a second and say, Thank you all for everything that you do, you are all truly the real Super Hero’s!!!
Sarah Torres here. I’m a Colorado born, Massachusetts raised, Nebraska transplant! I have been in Omaha for 20ish years raising my 4 kiddos, Xander, Zane, Israel & Adora. When I’m not busy momming, I am huge adventurer! I love hiking, biking, Crossfit, oly lifting, camping, white water rafting (basically anything outside). I myself love to travel and now that my kids are older I take off any chance I get. Some of my favorite places are Cape Cod, Florida and Colorado or wherever I can escape to by car spontaneously!
I am so excited to be a part of CrossMed!! It’s such an honor to be alongside the greatest unsung heroes of the medical community who always go above and beyond in all they do for those in need.
I love that I get to help you find your next adventure doing what you love while I get to do a job I love! Selfishly it gives me the chance to live vicariously through you when I can’t be out there traveling myself. So where are we going?!
Hi there! Im Hannah Davis and I do the social media here at CrossMed. I have grown up in the Midwest area my entire life. My name is Paul Weber, I am married and have three grown children and five grandchildren. I enjoy exercising, golfing, snow skiing, traveling, and spending time with my family. I am an avid football fan and have been a Husker fan for over 50 years. I am the Credentialing Specialist at CrossMed and enjoy working directly with our travelers to ensure they have a positive experience as they prepare for their next healthcare position. I have worked most of my life in non-profit settings serving adolescents with emotional and behavioral needs as well as people with intellectual disabilities. I find a great deal of satisfaction in this position knowing the professionals we place in the healthcare field are also serving others.
My name is Jastaa, I have lived in the Omaha/Council Bluffs area my entire life. I completed my Criminal Justice Degree in November of 2020. I enjoy the aspect of law and compliance and making sure things are handled appropriately and carefully. I have two boys Maesin and Lukas and another baby on the way. Life is pretty hectic when it comes to getting things done. When I am working I feel some sort of calm and collectedness when getting things done how they need to be! I love to read, write and watch tv while hanging out with my boys.
