Kristin L’Ecuyer – her story:

Educational Journey:

Kristin’s venture into the world of healthcare began in 2009, ignited by a deeply personal experience. Her twin nieces, born prematurely and weighing just 2 pounds each, embarked on a precarious three-month stay in the Neonatal Intensive Care Unit (NICU). It was here that she witnessed the tireless efforts of the respiratory staff at Bergan Mercy Medical Center, who, day by day, breathed life into these fragile infants.

Their dedication left an indelible mark on Kristin’s heart. She was moved by their relentless commitment to saving lives, and it became the driving force behind her decision to pursue a career in respiratory care. With a newfound purpose, she embarked on her educational journey, enrolling at Nebraska Methodist College.

In 2012, Kristin graduated with an Associate of Science in Respiratory Care, earning her certification as a Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT). Her journey didn’t stop there; her passion for the field and her dedication to patient care continued to flourish. In 2021, she achieved another significant milestone, obtaining a Bachelor’s in Health Science from Bellevue University. This educational achievement solidified her as a knowledgeable and devoted RRT, poised to make an even greater impact in the healthcare world.

Kristin’s story serves as a testament to the profound influence that personal experiences and dedicated healthcare professionals can have on one’s journey. A Career Dedicated to Care:

After completing her education, Kristin’s professional journey led her into the realms of Durable Medical Equipment (DME) and Long-Term Acute Care (LTAC). In these settings, she discovered profound satisfaction in forging connections with patients, imparting knowledge, and assisting individuals in their healthcare objectives. Through hands-on experience, she gained a deep understanding of the intricacies of patient care and the multifaceted demands of the healthcare profession.

The Transition to Healthcare Recruiting:

In 2022, Kristin embarked on a significant career shift, transitioning from her role as an RRT to becoming a healthcare recruiter specializing in allied healthcare professionals. Her decision was fueled by her desire to leverage her extensive healthcare experience and her talent for connecting with people to assist others in advancing their careers. Her role primarily focuses on helping Respiratory Therapists and other allied professionals find suitable positions in the realm of travel healthcare.
