Due to an overwhelming demand from the travel healthcare professional community, CrossMed expanded to offer Allied Health opportunities and opened its Allied division in November of 2022.

October is Breast Cancer Awareness Month and that has a special place in our hearts at CrossMed. We partnered with Project Pink'd - a nonprofit here in Omaha - to raise money to help local breast cancer fighters and survivors!

For the second year in a row, CrossMed was named one of the Great Places to Work!

CrossMed hosted its first Nurse Appreciation Night in Omaha and it was a huge hit as we treated our travelers to a great evening of drinks and food. The bond that our recruiters develop with their travelers is unlike anywhere else!

The Alpha School in Omaha does amazing work with at-risk youth in our community to help keep them in school and prepare them for adult life. We were blessed to be able to help them out by preparing special backpacks and other school supplies that they need to serve kids.

What an honor and, to be honest, a little bit of a surprise to be honored by Blue Pipes as the #7 overall travel healthcare professional agency in America. We take so much pride in putting our travelers first and doing everything we can for them while maintaining our motto of being humble, relentless and accountable. To have BluePipes acknowledge how hard we work for our travelers means the world to us!

Perhaps the biggest reoccurring theme of 2022 at CrossMed is growth. As we celebrated our third birthday, the consistent growth in the size of our community becomes more apparent with each picture. To celebrate our 3rd birthday we do what everyone loves to do - enjoy good food and friends!

We work every single day with some of the most dedicated healthcare professionals in the country, so we understand the importance of everyone doing their part to pitch in and help. Our blood drive to start off 2022 was a huge success and will continue to be a big part of CrossMed.

At CrossMed we talk a lot about the importance of being humble and also being servant leaders, both in the workplace and in our communities. As we continued adding high-character people to our team, the more our desire to actively giving back grew and in for Christmas in 2021 we adopted several local families and provided them with gifts they would not have otherwise received. What a blessing it is to be a blessing to others!

As the CrossMed Community continued to grow in 2021, the original vision of creating a top-notch working environment manifested itself when we were recognized & certified as a Great Place to Work by our internal staff AND our traveling healthcare professionals.

The CrossMed Community celebrated it's second anniversary by moving out of its super tiny office and into a building with plenty of room to grow to meet the rising demand for its services.

After spending more than 12 years as one of the top recruiters and managers for a major healthcare recruiting agency, current Chief Sales Officer Chris Johnson joined CrossMed to lead the sales team. His servant leadership approach and shared vision with Bridget Weber to create a humble, relentless and accountable culture that puts its travelers first has driven CrossMed's growth.

Having spent her entire professional career in the healthcare staffing industry, CEO Bridget Weber came aboard after previously helping lead to two other prominent agencies to new heights. She came in just as the COVID crisis was about to create a lot of havoc in the healthcare world and she has guided the organization to a rapid rise to one of the nation's premier healthcare recruiting agencies.

It all started in early 2019 with a very basic logo and a resolute desire to create a woman-owned & woman-operated boutique healthcare staffing agency. It wasn't long before we started rapid growth.
