CrossMed Healthcare Staffing Partners with Dunham House to Support Combat-Wounded Veterans

At CrossMed, we believe in putting the right people in the right places, especially when those places make a real difference. That’s why we’re proud to partner with Dunham House, a first-of-its-kind, long-term residential care community for combat-wounded veterans.

“CrossMed is thrilled to announce our partnership with the Dunham House project. We are honored to collaborate with such a significant initiative and look forward to contributing our expertise to ensure its success. We are committed to upholding the highest standards of excellence while staying true to our core values: humble, accountable, and relentless,” said Chris Johnson, President of CrossMed.

When Dunham House opens in fall 2026, it will provide 30 veterans with a place to live with dignity, receive personalized care, and be part of a supportive community. Our role? Ensuring their medical staffing needs are met by top-notch healthcare professionals who share our values.

Located on a scenic 40-acre site in north Omaha, this $13.9 million project will feature one-bedroom assisted living-style apartments, specialized units for greater physical needs, and shared spaces like a great room, dining area, fitness center, and memorial plaza.

We’re honored to help bring this vision to life alongside the Omaha-based nonprofit Wounded Warriors Family Support, the organization behind Dunham House. Their commitment to high-quality, veteran-focused care matches the dedication we put into every placement we make.

Because when it comes to caring for those who’ve sacrificed so much, only the best will do.
