Unit details 25 bed critical access facility, well newborn nursery, 4 labor rooms, 5 postpartum rooms, OR on unit for c-sections, 1 OBGYN and 2 family practice providers. Floating is required if unit is low census or closed (due to no census)- floating to med/surg, ICU, and ER to roust and provide “helping hands”; will not take a patient assignment.
